Aerofil’s massive 400,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility in Sullivan, MO specializes in aerosol and liquid filling, manufacturing/ supply chain logistics and custom packaging for consumer and commercial clients. Chances are that if a product can be sprayed—from an industrial solvent to hairspray–it was produced and/or packaged at Aerofil’s plant.
Aerofil’s most successful marketing channel is the ADF/PCD Expo—the aerosol sector’s annual trade show in New York. Aerofil executives wanted to showcase the company and its planned facility expansion, engage clients, customers and prospects, raise the number of on-site tours and increase revenue through new sales and partnerships. Aerofil tapped ShowMeVirtual to create and develop the physical booth as well as all print collateral and digital elements of the campaign.
ShowMeVirtual ShowMeVirtual created, produced and built a complete end-to-end solution for the ADF/PCD 2019 tradeshow experience– including booth design, physical diorama, multi-user augmented reality application on custom-branded hardware and multiple video content elements for the booth display and AR application. SMV reconstructed the Aerofil facility’s exterior as a full-color photorealistic 3D unit and remodeled the mesh by hand to create a large-scale 3D-printable building using reference art consisting of thousands of aerial and handheld photos. The diorama of Aerofil’s facility served as a real-world image-trigger anchor for the custom interactive augmented reality experience. The AR application, accessible to expo attendees on iPad Pros in the booth, featured the interior of the proposed facility—including state-of-the art production lines, new processes, equipment, and more in complex digital animations, 360 videos and interactive 3D computer graphics.
